Common Yellowthroat

The tiny Common Yellowthroat is a vocal exhibitionist in spring. You can’t miss the male’s call of witchity-witchity-witchity! ringing from the tangles and wood fringe. And often you can see the black-masked bird, its head reared back, letting fly.
