Yellow-Rumped Warbler

Ascending Beech Hill one particularly frigid late-November day, I came upon a Yellow-Rumped Warbler poking about in the undergrowth at trailside. As I watched, it snuck under a bush, curled into a ball, and appeared to go to sleep. (Maybe it was just warming up a tad, because it was hopping about again when I came back down.)
