Cedar Waxwing
Click image for a larger view.
On the arrival of summer, Cedar Waxwings start showing up along the wooded trail I walk, I presume to dine on newly ripened berries. They come in small flocks at first, but eventually begin to appear in greater numbers. Waxwings are a flocking bird, but this one’s traveling solo.
