Robins show up early at Beech Hill Preserve. They’re among maybe a half-dozen common migrants that arrive in April, before the hardwoods sprout new leaves, and start making like they want to stay. They’re beautiful birds, robins, especially when viewed against a tree trunk with a lovely, intricate texture.
